Celebrate diverse winter traditions, cultures, and faiths

On Saturday, December 1, experience this three-part, progressive event, by starting at City Hall Campus for the Tree Lighting Ceremony and fireworks show. Stroll down the Redmond Central Connector Luminary Walk, grab a sweet treat at Downtown Park, and end the evening at Redmond Town Center. Along the way enjoy musical entertainment, refreshments, and fun activities for the whole family.

Be sure to browse the unique homemade works from Northwest crafters at our Holiday Market at the Redmond Senior Center from 12pm-6pm.

On Sunday, December 2, take a peaceful stroll through the Redmond Central Connector, enjoying thousands of luminaries, light displays and artist installations. The evening culminates at Redmond’s new Downtown Park with interactive activities and a community sing-along.

Saturday, December 1

The Redmond Lights celebration begins at City Hall Campus. Park nearby or take the shuttle from Redmond Town Center that runs from 3:30-8:30 pm on Saturday only.

Sunday, December 2

The second night of Redmond Lights opens at 5 pm on City Hall campus. Parking is available in the City Hall garage. Guests are invited to begin their peaceful journey on the Luminary Walk behind the City Hall building along the Sammamish River Trail.

After visiting City Hall campus enjoy a magical winter walk along the Redmond Central Connector.

Parking & Shuttles

Event parking is available at City Hall and at Redmond Town Center. Take advantage of the free shuttle between City Hall and Redmond Town Center from 3:30-8:30 pm on Saturday, December 1.

The luminary walk is one way traffic flow from City Hall to Redmond Town Center on Saturday and from City Hall to Downtown Park on Sunday. There will be no shuttle service on Sunday, December 2. Please plan your shuttle trips accordingly.

ADA Parking is reserved in the City Hall Garage, in the Redmond Town Center Garage and along Redmond Way at Downtown Park on Sunday.


Restrooms are located inside City Hall, inside the Senior Center, outside the Public Safety Building, along the Luminary Walk in Downtown Park and at Redmond Town Center.

Cleveland Street will be closed from 161st Ave NE to Leary Way

Local access only, westbound only, from Leary Way to Brown Street for residents of Old Town Lofts and The Cleveland

SR 520 Traffic Advisory Alert

Crews will close all lanes and ramps of eastbound SR 520 between Montlake Boulevard and 92nd Avenue Northeast from 11 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, through 5 a.m. Monday, Dec. 3 to continue the replacement of lights underneath the highway lids on the Eastside. All westbound lanes and ramps will remain open, as will the SR 520 Trail. We suggest planning an alternate route ahead of time to make your arrival to Redmond Lights as stress free as possible.
