Redmond Lights celebrates the City's diverse holiday traditions, cultures, and faiths. Experience this three part, progressive event, by starting at the City Hall Campus Tree Lighting; strolling down the Redmond Central Connector Luminary Walk; and ending the evening at Redmond Town Center. Along the way enjoy musical entertainment, refreshments, and fun activities for the whole family.
Start at

City Hall Campus

The Redmond Lights celebration begins at City Hall at 4 pm. Park nearby or take the shuttle from Redmond Town Center.

  • Holiday Market from 12-6 pm
  • Crafts, face painting and activities for the whole family
  • Homeless care kit making station
  • Campus tree lighting at 5 pm
  • Fireworks Show at 6 pm, brought to you by Overlake Terrace Assisted Living

Wander down the

Luminary Walk

After visiting City Hall campus enjoy a magical winter walk along the Redmond Central Connector.

  • Enjoy sounds of the season along the trail and at a new entertainment stage in the Redmond Central Connector parking lot
  • Hundreds of luminaries and light displays
  • Warm beverages and sweet treats
  • Temporary installations by local artists Suzanne Tidwell, the Seattle Design Nerds, Jennifer Szabo, Beth Gahan, Kristie Smith, Vikram Madan and Redmond’s Poet Laureate, Shin Yu Pai
  • A special light installation in the Heron Rookery by Redmond’s Artist in Residence, Maja Petric

Parking & Shuttles

Option 1: Park at Redmond Town Center, catch the FREE shuttle to City Hall and walk the Luminary Trail back to Redmond Town Center.

Option 2: Park at the City Hall parking garage, walk the Luminary Trail to Redmond Town Center and ride the FREE shuttle back to City Hall. *Shuttles are available from 3:30-8:30 pm

**Please note: Programming at City Hall Campus and Redmond Town Center starts at 4 pm and ends at 8 pm while the Redmond Central Connector is lit from 5 pm to 8 pm. The luminary walk is one way traffic flow from City Hall to Redmond Town Center. Please plan your shuttle trips accordingly.
